Yes! We save most tables for walk-in guests. Please add your party to our Yelp online waitlist or visit our host at the front door to put your name down and we will text you when your table is ready.

Yes. We take reservations for parties of 9+ guests with more than 48 hours’ notice.  Please visit our group dining and private events page to submit your 9+ guests reservation inquiry. As a note, we are unable to take reservation requests for 9+ guests over the phone. 

For parties of 9 or more who are requesting reservations less than 48 hours in advance, please call ahead, or check in with our host upon arrival. If there is not a table immediately available, we’ll gladly add your party to our waitlist and text you as soon as your table is ready. 

Unfortunately, you cannot, sorry. While we do our best to accommodate table requests, we do not guarantee them. If you would like a specific type of table, there may be a wait until your ideal seating is ready.

Yes. We are open 365 days a year, including all major holidays and we would love to have you in to celebrate! Please check Yelp, Google or call us for adjusted holiday hours.

We are located at the entrance of PIER 39 in San Francisco. We are on the 2nd level, left-hand side as you walk onto the PIER.

We offer 1 hour of free parking validation (to guests that dine-in at our restaurant) in the PIER 39 Garage directly across Embarcadero Street right next to PIER 39. Please view the map on our website (below hours & location) for details on where the garage is located. Please let your server know you parked in the PIER 39 garage and they will give you a parking validation ticket to insert into the machine when you pay for your parking.

Thank you for letting us know. We can only hold your reserved table for 10 minutes after your reservation time. If you miss your reservation, we will add you to the waitlist and seat you when a table becomes available. Please allow ample time for parking, especially during peak hours of the day.

Yes, gift certificates to the restaurant are available and make a perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and special celebrations. We sell gift certificates online here and they are valid at all of our Simmons Family restaurants on PIER 39 and never expire. 

That is so kind of you. We encourage you to purchase a gift card which is the easiest way to treat someone to special items during a meal with us.

We open restaurant reservations 90 days in advance online only, and we do not take them over the phone. Please visit our reservation page here to schedule your next visit with us.

For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed in our restaurant.

Yes, our corkage fee is $35 per 750ml bottle.

We do not charge a cake-cutting fee for small parties. If you have a large party reservation please contact [email protected] to inquire about cake-cutting fees.

We have a few vegetarian options. Please feel free to ask your server which dishes can be prepared vegetarian. 

Yes. The dishes on our menu are marked with a “g” for dishes that CAN be prepared gluten-free. Please ask your server for more information.

There is a public PIER 39 elevator near the entrance of the PIER that takes you up to the 2nd level, right across from Fog Harbor. There is also an escalator moving staircase that takes you to the 2nd level, which is just a short walk from our front door.  

Fog Harbor Fish House offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Shirts and shoes are required, but attire ranges from casual sightseeing outfits to more formal wear for guests celebrating special occasions. Whether you’re stopping by after exploring San Francisco or enjoying an elegant night out, you’ll fit right in here at Fog Harbor.
